The Beginning
Why we opened in 2009
When our family moved to Sault Ste. Marie, the food we missed most wasn't on any menu in town — the smoke of a real tandoor, the slow build of a curry simmered for hours, naan torn straight from the clay oven. So in 2009, we built it ourselves.
What started as a small family dream became Northern Ontario's first dedicated Indian restaurant. We brought our grandmother's spice blends, our father's tandoor technique, and the only rule that ever mattered in our kitchen: cook it the way you'd cook for your family.
A dozen years later, that's still the only rule.

Our breads and tandoori meats come off charcoal — never a conveyor oven.
Hand-Ground Spices
We blend our own masalas. Every dish starts from scratch.
Halal Preparation
All meat is halal-certified. Vegetarian dishes prepared on separate surfaces.
